Sentence: in agreement with the Nolle Prosequi outcome, Pagel, Pagel's attorney, and Pagel's psychiatrist agreed that Pagel would keep only 2 dogs, cease any further "rescue" involvement and would seek help for her alcohol and emotional problems.

Sentence: 12 month suspended sentence, 3 years probation and a $100 fine. Pagel was ordered not to own any animals for 3 years. She was also instructed to surrender all animals in her possession.

Notes:
Nancy was to be in court in Amelia county , VA on 3/11/03 for larceny of a dog. She did not show up. She is now on the fugative file.

Nancy has just sold her house. Her real estate agent is a good friend of hers who will not say where Nancy has moved to.

She attended the University of New Mexico.
Her mother (we don't know if her father is still living) lives in NM
We were told she has moved out of state.
She told her lawyer that her mother was sick and she went to visit her.
Her lawyer doesn't know she moved.

Nancy may try to get involved with animals and rescue work again.
