McCumber is wanted for questioning in the dognapping and torture of Barney the poodle. He was with Hess on the day Barney was injured. When police searched Hess' trailer they found news clippings about Barney's torture and a posterboard stating "Roof, roof, The Adventures of Barney, chronicles and documentation by Steven and Dave".
