Donna O'Connell's home in Correctionville was raided and the authorities seized more than 100 animals.

O'Connell has been charged with animal neglect. Some of the neglected animals were caged in a foot of feces. The animals seized included a hedgehog, a pig, a parrot, a deer, squirrels and dogs.

She has threatened to sue over the seizure of her animals. O'Connell said she treated her animals well.

At the same time the authorities seized the animals, state officials removed four children that were also living in the home.

O'Connell was placed in the Woodbury County Jail after being charged with animal neglect.
