The German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County was caring for a brutalized dog that was adopted out by the South Central Los Angeles Animal Shelter in 2005.

The 2-year-old German shepherd was found in an abandoned car in South Los Angeles on Broadway.

He was in shock, with chemical burns on more than 70 percent of his body. The burns were caused by battery acid or chlorine that was poured on him.

The organization is calling the dog Justice, in hopes that the person responsible for this is brought to justice.

Justice is bouncing back, as he continues to get the best care possible.
