An argument over a relationship with a woman June 23, 2006 sent one man to the Brown County Jail and a pit bull to an animal hospital after the suspect allegedly ran the dog over after trying to run over the owner with a vehicle. The incident began with an argument between two men at a home in the 1000 block of Amberly Trail in Green Bay and led to the suspect allegedly attempting to run over the second man who was able to retreat into the home and call police, according to the Green Bay Police Department. The suspect then allegedly ran over the dog, causing what were described as "serious" injuries.

Police were called to the scene just before 6 p.m. The suspect, a 23-year-old Green Bay man, faces possible charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety; criminal damage to property and mistreatment of an animal, according to the police department.
