The U.S. Department of Agriculture and Ronald G. Wackerla, an animal dealer doing business as RGW Kennels and RGW Cattery, have agreed to a consent decision and order regarding violations of the Animal Welfare Act.

Wackerla neither admitted nor denied any violations of the AWA but agreed to pay a civil penalty of $7,000. APHIS inspectors found that Wackerla was selling animals without a license.
