On November 17, 2005, the defendant was found guilty by jury verdict, of discharge of a firearm at an occupied structure and cruelty to animals. On August 25, 2004, in Avondale, the defendant fired a handgun at a residence multiple times. He shot the family's dog, Coco, twice killing her. The defendant is scheduled for sentencing on December 16, 2005 before Judge Gama.�
