Police are on the lookout in Comstock Park for suspect in an animal cruelty case. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department says a suspect shot a goose in the neck with a crossbow and left the animal to die.

The goose is now recovering after a local vet volunteered to remove the arrow. Police say they have several leads in this case. Animal cruelty is a felony, and if convicted, the shooter could face 4 years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
