more information on voting
When you vote, you are voting on whether or not the punishment fit the crime, NOT on the severity of the case itself. If you feel the sentence was very weak, you would vote 1 star. If you feel the sentence was very strong, you would vote 5 stars.
Please vote honestly and realistically. These ratings will be used a a tool for many future programs, including a "Peoples Choice" of best and worst sentencing, DA and judge "report cards", and more. Try to resist the temptation to vote 1 star on every case, even if you feel that 100 years in prison isnt enough.

Cats dumped at roadside Carrollton, OH (US)Incident Date: Sunday, Aug 7, 2005 County: Montgomery
Disposition: Convicted
Defendant/Suspect: Angela Graham
A witness complaint led to Carroll County's first criminal court case in at least seven years where someone was charge for abandoning cats - a crime that animal control officers acknowledge happens often but isn't commonly prosecuted.
Angela Graham, 30, of 2092 Canyon Rd. SW pleaded guilty Aug 25, 2005 in Carroll County court to a minor misdemeanor charge of abandoning animals.
The witness told sheriff deputies that she saw a teenage girl throwing the cats out of the trunk of a white Dodge Intrepid on Aug. 7.
Judge John Campbell fined Graham $150, then suspended $100 on the condition of good behavior for two years, court officials said.
Shirl Berry, animal cruelty investigator for Carroll County, said Graham told the court that someone had left the cats with her, and she no longer wanted them because they were sick. References« OH State Animal Cruelty Map « More cases in Montgomery County, OH
