Roy Shepstone, 27, of Hazel Street was charged May 21 with burglary, criminal mischief, cruelty to animals and killing animals. Police said Shepstone was found walking in the 100 block of Simon Drive carrying a television. Shepstone broke into a Simon Drive home and killed two rabbits before stealing the television, police said. A stolen VCR was found in Shepstone's home after a consented search. The value of the stolen electronics is $150.
