County: SaginawDisposition: Alleged
Alleged: 17 year old boy
A 17-year old teen could be charged with domestic violence and animal cruelty charges for throwing a kitten at his 16-year old sister during an argument. The argument was over the use of the phone about noon on at the teens' home on Portsmouth near East Washington, Bridgeport Township.
The teen's name is not being released.
The 7-week old kitten suffered a head injury and likely internal injuries when it struck the window and fell to the ground.
The results of a veterinarian's report on the kitten's condition will determine what charges the police will seek.

Note: Classifications and other fields should not be used to determine what specific charges the suspect is facing or was convicted of - they are for research and statistical purposes only. The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges. Charges referenced in the original case report may be modified throughout the course of the investigation or trial, so case updates, when available, should always be considered the most accurate reflection of charges.
