A dead cat was found stuffed in a bag that had been set on fire. Firefighters arrived at the alley of Marlborough Avenue near Polk Street about 2:40 p.m. A Fire Department Dispatcher reported the cat was dead when the firefighters arrived at the scene.

It is unknown whether the cat died from the fire or was already dead before it was set on fire.
