Daniel Lee Williams, 20, was sentenced to four years in state prison for hacking to death an 8-month old puppy with a machete. Williams hung the puppy from a tree at Arroyo Viejo Park in East Oakland and hacked off one of her paws, leaving another dangling by the skin and severing some of her vertebrae.
