Bemis (now 23) and his sister, Mandi Davis, age 25, were attacked by one of his dogs.� Bemis known for keeping dangerous pitbulls had to have surgery for numerous bites on his arms and legs.� Davis was injured when she tried to help her brother.

Bemis and Davis had been bitten many times on both arms and legs, resulting in hundreds of puncture marks and areas of torn flesh.

Bemis stated that an American pit bull terrier named Brutus, was barking at something outside a window.� When Bemis tried to move the dog away from the window, Brutus attacked him.

After the attack Bemis had Brutus and 7 1-year-old pit bull terrier's�put down.

Bemis was convicted of keeping dangerous dogs�in May 2001.� Bemis appealed a Keene District Court ruling that 3 hof his pit bulls be euthanized, taking his case to the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

Police said this latest attack is under investigation and charges could be filed against Bemis.� They said he could also be made to pay for the dogs euthanization.
