Pets owner was subject of an animal abuse complaint earlier this year when Sassy, was removed panting and nearly unconscious from the intensely hot yard  home this past July, has again been taken away from its home.

Reports stated the 10 year old Sassy has an arthritis condition condition was removed from its cage Saturday after a complaint  the dog was throwing herself forcibly against her cage and crying almost non-stop.

The officer noted in the report that the temperature was between 35 and 40 degrees.

Sassys owners, Randall and Kendra of Boca Raton, FL., were not home at the time, so the animal was removed from its cage and taken to the shelter.

She said Randall Reed called and went to the shelter to take the dog home. No charges were filed.

Randall Reed was accused of animal abuse last summer after the dog was found tied up in the hot sun in the back yard.

That complaint was dropped. Reed and his wife agreed to a number of conditions on the proper care of animals imposed.
