Two residents say their cats were deliberately killed with anti-freeze.

John Johnson knew something was wrong with his cat, Lucy, when she came home last weekend.

She acted very sick and would not get up. When his veterinarian told him that Lucy had been poisoned with anti-freeze, he was shocked.

He said losing his cat was like losing a child.

The Stark County Humane Society says that cruelty laws in Ohio are among the worst and people need to convince lawmakers to change the laws on cruelty.
