Dog found with cut throat
Dunbar Township, PA (US)

County: Fayette

Disposition: Open

Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward up to $2,500 for the arrest and conviction of those involved in a case of animal cruelty last week in Dunbar Township.

A Labrador/pit bull mix male dog was found injured along Route 201 on Jan. 27, but later passed away on a veterinarian's operating table. The dog's throat had been cut.

The dog also had old and fresh dog bites, which indicates it may have been involved in organized dogfighting.

Anyone with information on the incident may contact the Fayette County SPCA at 724-438-3121 or the state police at 724-439-7111.
