Alleged: Johnny Ausbun

A Guymon man has been arrested for allegedly abusing 16 dogs. Johnny Ausbun, 22, was arrested after concerned citizens contacted animal control officers about the neglected animals. Animal control found several malnourished dogs and puppies at the home in the 700 block of North Academy including a dead puppy in a freezer.

Ausbun is being held at the Texas County Jail on a 35,000 dollar bond.

He is charged with one felony count of cruelty to animals and is awaiting trial.
