Dogs poisoned with antifreeze

Rockingham County authorities were looking for someone Friday night who poisoned a pair of dogs.

It happened at a home on East Stadium Drive in Eden.

The sheriff's office said the owner let her two dogs out in a fenced back yard Wednesday afternoon. When the dogs came back into the house, she said both appeared sick.

A veterinarian confirmed the dogs both suffered from antifreeze poisoning.

Investigators said they don't have a motive or a suspect.
