He said Vincent and Virginia Bishop, along with their son, were inside the residence. The sheriff said they woke up to discover a fire at their rear door. They said they saw Doyle Teague, 67, and Carolyn Powell, 54, running away.
The fire could not be extinguished and destroyed the home, killing the family's dog.
The sheriff said "a melted jug was found where Ms. Powell threw an object and there was an odor of gasoline coming from the jug."
