10 puppies stuffed in plastic bag, run over
Bath, KY (US)

Incident Date: Friday, Sep 5, 2008
County: Fayette

Disposition: Open

Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

A disturbing case of suspected animal cruelty in Bath County where the Sheriff's Department says 10 puppies, stuffed in a garbage bag, and dumped on the road, were killed when someone ran over them.

Nancy Huff says a neighbor who had been driving along old US 60 in Bath County called and told her about the puppies last week.

She says someone had dumped them in the middle of the road and cars had run over the dogs repeatedly. Huff and her neighbor removed the puppies' remains from the street and gave them a proper burial.

The Humane Society is offering a $25,000 reward to find out who is responsible.
