A west Michigan woman, plead guilty to animal cruelty charges for keeping 161 dogs and cats at her late grandfather's Shiawassee County farm.
The woman was sentenced to 2 year's probation and was ordered to repay the county $16,000 -- the amount spent caring for the rescued animals. The judge also ordered her to seek mental health counseling and banned her from owning and rescuing any more animals.
