A man who police allege is a key figure in drug and dogfighting circles was arrested on a federal drug charge.

Rogers, was arrested as part of an inquiry into an alleged narcotics network and dogfighting gambling ring.  The FBI conducted 11 searches, incluidng one at Roger's mothers home in Vassar and another at his stepsister's home in Grand Blanc.

Rogers was ordered held by a federal magistrate pending a preliminary examination in US District Court.  Rogers was on probation for a Wayne County Animal cruelty case.
