Puppy burned with acid or hot water
Uniontown, PA (US)

Incident Date: Monday, Sep 10, 2007
County: Fayette

Disposition: Open

Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

An 8-week-old German shepherd-collie mix named Max was found with a nasty burn on his back. "We think he was burnt, because of the skin peeling off the way it did," said Humane Society Manager Theresa Linden. "They think it could be acid burn, scalding hot water. We don't know yet."

Max was a stray and the Humane Society doesn?t know who burned him, but his foster parents said they would like to find out.

The Humane Society said Max should make a full recovery.

Anyone that would like to donate to the Humane Society can do so by calling 724-439-8620.
