Georgia Jones, 40, of St. Clair Township, faces four counts of animal cruelty after being arrested July 17.

Humane society officials said Jones' four horses hadn't had food or water for two weeks. All four horses are in poor condition right now -- one is almost 200 pounds underweight -- but all are expected to recover.

Julie Holmes of the Butler County Humane Society said that the animals have been neglected before.
