Police are looking for a Montgomery woman accused of leaving two puppies alone in her house with no food or water for 21 days.

The dogs were found dead inside the home in the 3700 block of MacLamar Drive. Police said Letoya Brown Jackson took the puppies' mother with her Dec. 6 but left the puppies behind.

The puppies were found Dec. 27 by a neighbor, police said, and the incident was reported to police on Jan 15.

Jackson faces two felony charges of animal cruelty, police said
