Sentence: Wilmoth was charged in November 2002 and plead guilty in February 2003 for brokering the illegal sale with the buyers in Missouri.

On May 20, 2002, Wilmoth, operator of Wild Wilderness Safari animal park was sentenced for aiding and abetting the illegal transport and sale of endangered tigers, a misdemeanor violation of the US Endangered Species Act. Wilmoth received 6 months home confinement and 2 weekends in jail. He was also ordered to pay $25. special assessment and will be on probation for 3 years and must pay the US Fish and Wildlife Service's Save the Tiger Fund $10,000.
