Mic, a black labrador retriever, was a farm dog but he was also the family "son".  Mic went looking for his owner Jimmy when Jimmy went to deliver wood.  Someone shot Mic through the ribs and into the heart.  He was found 2 days later in the land adjoining the family farm.
