Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for deliberately running over and killing five Canada geese in West Sand Lake on July 13.

According to The Record, five geese were run over by a car on Algonquin Road near Reichards Lake on July 13. A wildlife pathologist with the state Department of Environmental Conservation examined the geese and found they suffered from crushed thoraxes, crushed heads and broken wings. The location in which the geese were found lead investigators to believe the geese were intentionally hit.

Neighbors are also offering a $25 reward in this case.
