John McAtee - Greene County, MO - had a Beagle puppy that was starved and neglected to death, left out in frigid December (2002) snow and ice storms in Missouri with no dog house or shelter of any kind in a dog run with concrete floor. Vet. service was the Strafford Animal Hospital in Fair Grove, MO.
The report from the vet's office which was brought to the Animal Abuse Council meeting by the vet tech. Vet didn't want to prosecute. Vet tech didn't want to push it because he could lose his job, removing and distributing such records. So this case was never sent to the prosecuting attorney's office nor even to the police.
