Baltimore animal control officials impounded a dog Monday, Feb 6, and two others remain in what appeared to be an unattended house. A neighbor of the south Baltimore house said she has complained several times to the city, saying the dogs don't seem to stop barking.
"I hear these dogs crying every night. I can't take it anymore," she said.
She said she gave her neighbors a doghouse and offered to have a veterinarian to check for the animals' health. She claimed the owners have not been at the house for days.
"They were tied to the front door on a 2-foot rope to keep people from knocking on their front door," Mullins said. "They're left outside without shelter."
City animal control officials impounded one of the dogs on Feb 6 morning that they said was left outside without food, water or shelter. Officials said two other dogs remain inside the house
According to the Baltimore City Health Department, the dogs have been in custody of animal control in the past and they left healthy. Health officials said, "The owner has 24 hours to contact Animal Control. If not, the city can take the case to a court commissioner, get a warrant and then conduct a search and seizure with a police escort." References« Back to Search Results
