The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Tampa Bay is in search of a witness who could provide information in a recent animal cruelty investigation.
The witness is thought to be a female who turned a cat in to a local emergency clinic in St. Petersburg on Jan. 25. The adult cat was found in a white box left at the intersection of 22nd Avenue North and 40th Street North by an unknown party.
