Hoarding - over 50 cats seized, over 20 found dead

Alleged: Irving Fein

Irving Fein, of Lamson Rd. in Tonawanda, has been charged with cruelty to animals. SPCA agents removed more than 50 living cats and over 20 feline carcasses from his home on February 25. Fein was immediately admitted into a local hospital for evaluation and care, and was charged with animal cruelty upon his release this week. SPCA Senior Investigator Michael Armatys placed the charges; arraignment is scheduled in Town of Tonawanda Court for Wednesday, May 18, 9:30 am.
