A south Fort Myers owner of a bull found slaughtered and mutilated in early September offered a $1,000 reward to anyone who provides information that could lead to an arrest.
Bull breeder Ronnie Flint, 63, owned and raised the 1,500-pound, 4-year-old bull, which was kept in a pasture at his ranch at Daniels Parkway and State Road 82.
Late Sept 9 or early Sept 10, someone killed the animal, removed prime beef parts and mutilated its sexual organs, sheriff's officials said.
"The person who did this removed all the parts you would sell," said Trish Routte, coordinator for Southwest Florida CrimeStoppers. "They weren't just doing this as a violent, heinous act."
The bull was worth $2,250. Lee County deputies in the agricultural unit are investigating the case.
Anyone with information about this crime can be eligible for a cash reward in addition to the $1,000 offered by the owner. Call 1-800-780-TIPS. References« Back to Search Results
