Acting on a tip, officers in western Tarrant County bust a suspected dog fighting ring on Aug 16, rescuing several animals.
Police confiscated eight dogs the Benbrook home of Karina and Erick Wright and said the North Texas couple may be involved in dog fighting rings in other locations in the U.S. The pair were booked into the Benbrook jail and have since bonded out.
The seized dogs were taken to the Humane Society of North Texas for treatment.
The organization is also taking care of at least seven other dogs, Pit Bulls, also thought to be trained to fight.
