A 5-month old calico kitten was thrown off the Harper overpass in Detroit onto Interstate 94. A 17-year olod Harrison Township yough, Chris Schmidlin, saw the kitten being thrown to the pavement and he retrieved the kitten.
The kitten suffered a broken leg, cracked pelvis and frost bitten ear.
George Fox, director of the Humane Society of Macomb County said the incident happened about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
