A dog was shot at least five times at a family celebration. Reports say Angel was killed by a man riding a four-wheeler along Old Voth Road in Beaumont. Police say the dog was found with five gunshot wounds. No one has been arrested.

Beaumont Police Officer Carmen Apple says killing an animal is a Class A Misdemeanor punishable with up to a $4,000 fine and less than a year of jail time.
