Seven ducks at the Lindon Boat Harbor were shot and killed Tuesday night and several others were wounded, said Mark Cook, who manages the harbor. Animal control personnel arrived at the harbor Wednesday and had to euthanize several other ducks who were severely injured. Cook said with the duck killings happening every year, he is forced to padlock the gate when no one is on patrol instead of allowing access to fishermen.
