A Penns Grove man was arrested on after he allegedly threw his girlfriend's dog against a wall, said police. Police responded to Naylor Avenue around 9:23 a.m. and arrested James Wilson, 39, and charged him with disorderly conduct and animal cruelty. 
 
Wilson reportedly threw the animal against the wall during an argument with his girlfriend, according to police.

He was served a summons complaint and released pending a court appearance. Authorities said the dog was not seriously injured. The did not say type of dog the animal was.
