A man is accused of stomping a kitten to death in Washougal. David Scott Anderson was arrested on first-degree animal abuse charges.

According to court documents, Anderson was angry about his home smelling like cats, so he killed the kitten. His roommate says she saw him take the pet outside and stomp it.

Anderson was held at the Clark County Jail on $5,000 bail.
