Stoning and Burning a raccoon & offspring

Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

A group of individuals were observed throwing stones at a mother raccoon, causing her to drop her baby in the vicinity of the 600 block of Church St in Asbury Park, NJ.  Once the baby raccoon fell to the ground, the group of people proceeded to pummel the baby raccoon with rocks and douse it with hot water.  The 3-4 week old raccoon died at the scene.

The Associated Humane Societies has started a reward fund with $1,000.  The reward will be given to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any individuals involved in this incident.
