A 45 year old Salt Lake City man was arrested April 15, 2004 for allegedly poisoning four cats.
He reportedly told police that he put out pie tins with poison-laced tuna in them because he didn't like cats.

Police investigating the case said they noticed one of the tins in his driveway and saw him throwing some other tins into the trash.

The man was booked into Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of animal cruelty, a  Class A misdemeanor.
