Municipal Court Judge Thomas Foley also ordered Deininger not to have any new pets for five years and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine

Henry R. Deinninger had been charged with the same complaints in April 2009 when the SPCA removed 34 cats from Deinninger's former home on Bay Avenue in Highlands.
When Henry Deinninger was charged in 2009, a Highlands municipal court judge had ordered Deinninger only be allowed at any time to house four cats, which had to be spayed and neutered; he and two other family members were fined $3,000 and the cats were taken into possession by the SPCA.

Amato said he left the Deinningers with four cats per the judge's 2009 order because they had been spayed and neutered.
