The investigation continues into the Big Lake horse shooting. Two weeks ago, a Big Lake horse was shot point blank between the eyes just feet from where she lived, leaving the family who owned her wondering who could do such a thing.

After learning of the shooting, Big Lake residents joined together offering moral and financial support--one neighbor even offering her own mare to the family to help them cope with their loss.

Troopers say they are investigating leads in the case, but still have no one in custody.
