The Broome County Sheriff's Office Detective Division has arrested Colin Zeidenstein-Wilson 32yoa and Jenn N Xancada 32yoa both of 226 Dutchtown Road in Windsor after an investigation into animal cruelty. Sheriff's Deputies executed a search warrant at the residence earlier today on Dutchtown Road as a result 5 horses, 1 donkey, 2 dogs and 8 cats were seized. All the animals appeared to be malnourished and have been removed to shelters for care.

Charges: Endangering the welfare of a child class A misdemeanor.
Animal Cruelty class A Misdemeanor
Unlawful Possession of marijuana violation

Additionally Wilson was charged with multiple vehicle and traffic charges stemming from a suspended license.

Both Wilson and Xancada were released and ordered to appear in the Town of Windsor Court to answer the charges.

The arrest was made by Detective Deborah Phelps

The Sheriff's Office was assisted by Equine Rescue Resources, Broome County Animal Care Council, Town of Windsor Dog Control, New York State Humane Society, Forget Me Not Equine Retirement Center and Broome County Child Protective Services.
