Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
A Titusville man's dog was shot on Wednesday evening and state police in Corry are asking for the public's help in solving the case.
According to police, someone shot a 16-month-old boxer mix owned by Donald Rulin Kerr, 69, of Thompson Run Road.
The shooting occurred Wednesday, around 5 p.m. Kerr's dog was shot with a small caliber firearm while it was on the road in front of Kerr's home.
The bullet hit the dog's right front shoulder, coming out the other side, but it missed vital organs, according to a family member.
The dog is doing well and is on antibiotics.
Anyone with information is asked to call Corry-based state police, at 663-2043.
The shooting is considered an animal cruelty case.
