Louisville Metro Police are accusing a Louisville man of shooting a cat with an arrow in the Southside neighborhood.
Jeric Flores, 21, was arrested Tuesday on charges of torture of a cat, second-degree animal cruelty and tampering with physical evidence, according to an arrest slip.
After getting a search warrant, Metro Animal Services authorities found a bow and arrow in Flores' home in the 5000 block of Wabash Place, hidden in a ceiling light fixture, the arrest slip said.
The cat was shot with a bow on the 100 block of East Kingston Avenue; the feline survived but suffered serious injury, the arrest slip said.
Flores was cooperative with authorities and admitted to shooting the cat, the arrest slip said.
