Ofrecen una recompensa para localizar al dueño de una perrita apuñalada

La Sociedad Protectora de Animales y Plantas de Mallorca (SPAP) ofrece una recompensa a quien pueda ayudar a localizar al dueño de la perrita hallada gravemente maltratada dentro de un cubo de basura en Son Macià, en Manacor. El animal, que fue encontrado atado dentro de un saco, mostraba graves cortes en el cuello producidos con un cuchillo, fuertes golpes en la cabeza y hemorragias en los ojos, y se encontraba en un estado de hipotermia muy grave.

En un comunicado,la Protectorade Animales explica que la perrita, que es una pastora mallorquina cruzada con un labrador, no tiene chip.

Según el informe veterinario, la perrita "apareció con un corte en la zona dorsal del cuello de unos 10 centímetros y de una profundidad compatible con el corte de un cuchillo. Asimismo, se observaron hematomas a ambos lados de la cabeza así como hemorragias intraoculares". Según el veterinario que le atendió en primera instancia, estos golpes fueron propinados con un palo o un bastón una vez que la perrita ya estaba desangrándose atada dentro del saco. "Este caso es de un salvajismo tal que no nos podemos quedar de brazos cruzados", asegura Carmen Rojas Matas, dela SPAP.

"Nuestra intención es llegar al fondo del asunto para que se haga justicia, para que este abominable acto no quede sin consecuencias. Para ello pedimos la colaboración ciudadana. No podemos permitir que en nuestra sociedad se den casos de tamaña crueldad", asegura.
