Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

The act itself was deplorable - cruelty to the extreme against the most vulnerable of creatures....4 newborn puppies were discovered just a few short days ago alongside a road.

The pups were found inside of a box, wrapped in a garbage bag. A good Samaritan discovered the puppies and took them to animal control. Animal control contacted a rescuer - pleading for help.

One of the babies did not survive the first night. Sadly,Thursday saw the passing of yet another one. The puppies appear to have been either beaten, or possibly used as bait dogs.

The puppies are suffering from serious injuries - ranging from open wounds to a fractured skull. Their tiny faces are swollen and infected. They are suffering as no living creature should be made to suffer.

But in the interest of focusing on the positive - on the potential for miracles in this special holiday season - we will look beyond the tragedy of this horrifying situation and concentrate on the good.

These puppies were discovered before they died alone, in a garbage bag. When movement was noticed from the garbage bag, the good Samaritan that witnessed it did not keep walking - they stopped, they investigated, and they helped.

The puppies' welfare was considered by the animal control agency that they were taken to and help was sought for their care. Right now, at this very moment, the 2 surviving puppies are receiving medical attention and if they make a full recovery, they will be placed into loving homes.

The surviving puppies are receiving veterinary care at:

Snowden Grove Animal Hospital

Southaven, MS 38671

Pay Pal Donations can be made to the the rescue at this email address: (

Individuals interested in making a donation towards the medical need to specify to the vet clinic that funds are for the garbage bag puppies.
