Dog beaten, kicked
Omaha, NE (US)

Incident Date: Friday, Oct 1, 2010
County: Douglas

Disposition: Alleged

Alleged: Christopher Wolfe

It's a sight that would make any animal lover cringe; police arrest Christopher Wolfe after a disturbing attack on a dog.

A veterinary medicine student saw the whole thing; shaken when she witnessed Wolfe abusing his pit bull outside Candlelight Lounge near 50th and Grover Street.

Wolfe says,"He had her on a leash and he just kind of like, kicked her in the back, she just kind of jumped a little bit. It made me really sad." The student says this man was visibly drunk when he stood outside asking people to kick his dog. When vondra and her friends refused, she says he hurt the animal.

Vondra says her boyfriend called the police. Officers arrested Wolfe and charged him with animal cruelty and disorderly conduct. Animal control officers took the dog away from the man. Vondra now hopes the Humane Society can find a happy home for the pet.
